That is why the reading plan of the Junta de Castilla y Le\u00f3n is so essential in our community and will continue to be mandatory,&#8221; <\/em>said <strong>Luis Domingo Gonz\u00e1lez N\u00fa\u00f1ez, G.D. for Innovation and Teacher Training of the Consejer\u00eda de Educaci\u00f3n de la Junta de Castilla y Le\u00f3n, <\/strong>at the &#8216;I Jornada: Retos de las AAPP en la Innovaci\u00f3n Educativa&#8217;, held yesterday at the Thyssen Museum in Madrid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This day of educational innovation, organized by <a href=\"https:\/\/corporate.odilo.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ODILO<\/a>, the Spanish edtech that allows all types of organizations and institutions to create their own Unlimited Learning Ecosystem, was attended by <strong>Mar\u00eda del \u00c1ngel Mu\u00f1oz, General Director of Educational Planning and Management <\/strong>of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports, as well as representatives of the Ministries of Education and Innovation of the communities of Aragon, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Castilla-La Mancha, Catalonia, Extremadura, Galicia, Madrid, Murcia and Navarra, the city of Melilla, and the National Institute of Educational Technologies and Teacher Training (INTEF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the reading, Gonz\u00e1lez N\u00fa\u00f1ez stressed the <strong>importance of innovation as a driving force for progress in education <\/strong>in the region: &#8220;<em>The educational system of Castilla y Le\u00f3n is based on permanent innovation to provide the educational community with the best tools to prepare our students for responsible development in today&#8217;s life. Innovation will be successful to the extent that we anchor it in tradition. We must prepare for life, and life today is digital&#8221;.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the spokesman stressed that, despite the need to implement the latest digital innovation, &#8220;<em>we must not lose the essence, which is none other than preparing students for life, which will not depend on the tool, but on its humanization. A point in which the teacher&#8217;s leadership in front of the class and their passion to excite the students is also key&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In addition, teachers need to be properly trained<\/strong>, emphasizing emotional management and digital skills, to <strong>address the new educational challenges<\/strong>: &#8220;<em>The quality of an educational system will depend on the quality of its teachers. We need to prepare teachers scientifically so that they know how to control their knowledge and train them from a scientific and didactic point of view, so that they know how to apply new technologies and distinguish when to apply digital and when the analogical field&#8221;, <\/em>he assured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An aspect to which Mar\u00eda del \u00c1ngel Mu\u00f1oz also highlighted the quality of Spanish teachers and the importance of equipping them with the right tools and knowledge to address this challenge: &#8220;<em>The role of the teacher has changed a lot. It has become essential to take care of them and support them so that they can take up the challenge of teaching our students in an increasingly digitalized society.
